Motivation on ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY- power of consistency

ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY

Rome, The capital of modern Italy, was once the capital of the vast Roman Empire. It was one of the most beautiful and prosperous cities, of the world. Traces of such beauty and prosperity can be seen till this day in the ruins of huge mansions, baths, stadia, theatres, statues and such other monuments in Rome. It is because of these magnificent and ground works of art, architecture and engineering of ancient Rome that the city has come to be a symbol of excellent and grand achievements. Such monumental achievements speak of  great genius of the Roman people as well as the tremendous hard work done by them for long years.

However, this marvellous city, which is a tribute to human ambitions and will-power, did not spring into existence overnight. Over and above the money spent for such achievements, needed the patient and ceaseless toil of millions of Romans over hundreds of years to build this magnificent city. In fact, nothing
confidence and hard work. We cannot achieve success in anything with a mere wish. An Aladin's lamp is to be found only in a fairy tale. In real life, there are no Aladin's lamps. No great artist, sculptor, painter, musician, writer, player or statesman has earned greatness or fame without practice and hard labour.
Greatness and fame as well as permanence can be found only the hard way up.
PROVERB MOTIVATION ENCOURAGEMENT

Today, mankind has achieved spectacular success in its space programme. Man has landed on the moon and is exploring other satellites and planets with the help of space vehicles. These successes have not been achieved by man overnight. In a sense, the process started with Galileo himself in the seventeenth century when he was endeavouring to formulate the laws of falling bodies. From Galileo to the present-day space scientists, it has indeed been a long story.

There may be occasional cases of quick successes. But, as a general rule, we must plan our work with foresight, work hard with patience, hope and enthusiasm and must not get disheartened if the achievement of success is delayed.
